Medieval Memories !
We had a great time of reflecting on
the times of when Kings and Queens ruled the day. We looked at how we as caregivers can reflect
upon our care for self and care for those whom we serve. There was a time of community that offered
companionship between caregivers. Each participant received effective
reflection and words of affirmation that helped them to refresh their spirit
for another year of caring from the heart.
If you missed this
year’s Annual Care Giver Retreat make plans to meet us next year for a serious
time of reflection, refreshing and renewal.
If you serve others with personal care you will need to be refilled with
the love, compassion and vigor a loving caregiver hopes to give.
We will post
some material related to the retreat later but thanks to all who could make it
and get the idea that the task of caregiving is an important aspect of society
and needs the support of the medical community.
