Care Givers are Superheroes

Melissa Roberts, counselor and life coach

Caregivers are Superheroes in their own right.
Sometimes when you are in the midst of caring or catering to others you tend to loose sight of your needs.
I am Marvel comic lover of the superhero. I think it's amazing when you think about it. They start out being average, normal individuals who really at first don't want to step into that role but something happens and they feel almost compelled to. Their superpower is then identified because they have been forced in some cases to have to step in and be that one to respond immediately.

Take for instance one of my favorite superheroes one that everyone would know, Superman - who is not from this world, but was sent to earth because his home - Krypton was being destroyed and his parents wanted him to be saved. He finds himself in this place, doesn't really know that the parents that raised him are his adoptive parents and that he is not like everyone else, not of this world. Not until he figures it out and then he has a choice to make.
Will I use these powers for good or for evil? Caregivers make this choice also and decide how to tell their story, their superpower...

You use your superpower for the care of others.  Take time to refresh your spirit and renew your heart.  Come to the ACGR 2021.
