 The Out of this World, Meet and Greet

  Have you taken care of yourself lately?   

Care giving, is one of the most stressful tasks that anyone can take on.  As a provider of care you are responsible for the wellbeing of those who would lack many needed services, services that may cause illness, pain, and stress.  That’s a big job. 

Yet, in order to care for someone else, one must effectively take time to care for oneself. You must take time to Reflect, Restore and Recreate your own emotional vitality.   This is done by stepping away from a busy schedule and taking a breath of fresh air.

    We are returning to Dunaway Gardens in Newnan, Ga

    You are invited to attend ‘The Annual Care Giver Retreat’ among other caregivers just like yourself.  All attendees will be given one agenda.  That will be the task of Reflection, so that each may Restore his/her weary spirits and be involved in Recreating the attitude which has peace, purpose, and hope.

 

The Retreat will be held by Chaplain Horace Cutter, M.Div., BCPC.  Chaplain Cutter and other spiritual care givers will lead the caregiver retreat in activities, reflective readings and times of solitude that will bring opportunity for margin.

 

It is Chaplain Cutter’s aim to schedule a time of Reflection which many nurses, social workers, hospice and healthcare workers do not get during the busy schedule they keep.  Come among the beautiful scenery at Dunaway Gardens to sooth your soul and quiet your spirit.

  

   Date:  Thursday, June 3^rd  

   Time:  9:00 am- 4:30pm, 

Beginning with a mild breakfast, lunch on your own.  The attendance fee for the Retreat is $25.00.  Register by May 26^th  After 5-26, the fee is $35.00 (call Chaplain Cutter (770-969-8354).

 The ACGR will be held on Thursday, June 3^rd from 9am to 4:30pm on location at Dunaway Gardens, among the natural fragrance of flowers and lovely landscape.  The Annual Care Giver Retreat is specifically for Professional Care Givers and Professional Teachers. 

      Dunaway Gardens, is a well-manicured garden tucked in the corner of Newnan, Ga.   You will be surrounded by nature and have time to take for reconnecting with your mind and body and spirit.

Directions to Dunaway Gardens       

*From I-85 take exit 47 Bullsboro Dr. (Hwy 34) in Newnan.

*Drive toward Newnan about ¼ mi, make right on 34 by pass.

*Continue on 34 by-pass (3mi.) to Hwy 70 (Roscoe Rd). make right & Drive apprx. 5. 5 miles. 

*Dunaway Gardens will be on the Left.    We hope to see You there!
